Xmas HeaderCardigan Bay Rock 'n' Rollers

Is It That Time of Year Already????

YES! And don't we have a treat in store for you this festive season? We're kicking off the celebrations early this year with our Christmas Dance with Free Beer (the band!) in Cilgerran Village Hall. As usual it will be on the last Saturday of the month (29th November).

Free Beer played for us back in April and, by popular demand, we have brought them back to play out 2008 in style. There'll be extra festive goodies and surprises as well as the regular free ice cream sodas (bring your own refreshments as well!) to make this one rock'n'roll knees up you really won't want to miss.

And finally... We would like to give everyone a big thankyou for supporting us this year and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

If you take pictures we'd love to see them and make them available for the world to see.

You can either burn them onto a CD and bring them along to a dance or send them to us using at press@cardiganbayrocknrollers.co.uk

Thanks!!

2009 - Dates and bands to be confirmed

Watch this space... dancing should commence on 28th February 2009!

Forums

If you haven't already logged onto the forums here's a timely reminder that the events section is used to keep everyone bang up to date with any changes or new events that are happening in the area.

This means that not only is it an invaluable source of information to people looking for dances and music events in the area but also a great place to advertise your events for free! It doesn't have to be a purely dance-related event... anything that includes a bit of live entertainment that people can dance to is more than welcome on the forums.

We're also keen for the area to be used as a place where people can give reviews of events or even leave ideas for what they would like to see from future events.

It's your area... make use of it! :o)

Workshops and Tuition

One of the goals formed when conceiving CBRNR was to go out into the community and help youth groups and other community groups to get up and dance - either as a form of excercise or purely as a social outlet. Since our recent advertising campaign we have recevied several requests for workshops by different community groups in the region.

If you are interested in having us along for an evening please contact us here for further details.
